Hip-Hop Artist, Interstate Snake, Released Debut Album, The Year of the Snake, Y.O.T.S
WOODBRIDGE, VIRGINIA - July 8 2014 – Hip-Hop artist Interstate Snake released his much anticipated debut album “The Year of the Snake, Y.O.T.S” on July 8, 2014.
At an early age Interstate Snake, born Haris Barekzai migrated to the US from Afghanistan with his family and settled in Woodbridge, Virginia. Influenced by the sounds of Nas, UGK, Scarface, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang and others, he began free styling and was nicknamed Picasso due to the fact that he was able to paint vivid pictures with his words.

Visual of Hit Single “I’m Cookin”
WOODBRIDGE, VIRGINIA- September 10, 2014 - Hip Hop artist Interstate Snake released his highly anticipated video for his smash hit “I’m Cookin”.
“Im Cooking” the first single released from Interstate Snake debut album “Year of the Snake” Y.O.T.S, , featuring Doe Da Deacon, a member of Official Grind (OGE), broke the ice for “The Year of the Snake, Y.O.T.S and grabbed the attention of many listeners with its catchy chorus. The single was mixed, mastered, and produced by musical mastermind DJ Rob. Produced by up and coming film works NRG Productions the video visually consists off simple backdrops, members of OGE and a boxing ring. The idea behind the video was to showcase a light-hearted reality rather than the usual themes of drugs, violence and scantily clad women.
